Mirror Mirror ~ Who do you influence?

Introspection — what better way to start a week.

Question: Who do you influence and who influences you?

Coming from a lifestyle of trauma, I didn’t believe I influenced anybody. And, I didn’t believe anyone really influenced me.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The way I saw this fallen world was that there were controllers and those of us that didn’t know how to control.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The longer I’ve lived the more I have survived. Better than surviving, I am learning how to thrive. I’ve done this by spending some time around very strong people. Their influence on me taught me how to stand opposed to them or unite with them — depending on what I decided to choose.

That was profound to me. That I could influence. It was profound to me that all influence was not control. Oh the likes of some assholes that do want to impose their control over others is astounding, but I don’t stay by those kind of people any more.

But, the influential — I want to find them! I have something to add myself these days.
