Of all the self-righteous adages, “How can I help you” may be the worst.
We struggle and compare fighting to gain our freedom,
While good-dead doers stand along the roadside and pretend to help!
“No help is coming,” said she that did all the work.
“Get out of my way, I got this.”
Is this how it should look with God by my side?
Heavens no! And in my life it doesn’t look like this.
I just don’t listen to those that fein an extended hand to help.
It’s easy to offer the words of comfort, but the effort it takes to dive in and assist is a challenge.
Who will stand with us and fight?
