Coming through a home of incest left daily battles that followed me in life. The truth God taught me about fighting for me was profound. I watched as he moved in and won battle after battle for me — some legal and some personal wars.
He never left my side and he didn’t tell me how it was going to end. But I knew one thing – he was and is fighting on my behalf.
If you find yourself in this great battle of life, lift your hands towards the heavens and cry out, or whisper softly, these words, “Lord, I can’t any more. I don’t have the strength it takes to continue. Will you please take the battles before me, around me and behind me and start fighting on my behalf. In Jesus might name, Amen.”
Take your eyes OFF your abuser and put the focus on yourself #UCU.
