Mirror Mirror ~ What Crime Would You Like God to Remember?

Moments of reflection — what better way to start a week.

Don’t doubt yourself! Even God remembers the crime committed against you. In the last book of the bible, John tells us “and God has remembered her crimes.” Did you know that God remembers?

Question – What crime would you like God to remember for you today?

And, please, religious folks – this is not unforgiveness. This is justice. God is all about justice.

I am reminded often that remembering my past brings freedom to my future. Forgetting my past — keeps me in prison.

One response to “Mirror Mirror ~ What Crime Would You Like God to Remember?”

  1. I too have had my innocence stolen as a child. Then again in my late teens, and yet again in my twenties. And as wounding and evil as those crimes were, they are not what comes to mind when I think of what I want God to remember (although I do want Him to remember and execute justice for them). Now my thoughts go to all the ways since that the enemy of my soul has tricked, hoodwinked and flat out stolen from me over the last 20-30 years (well past those earlier wounds). Of peace and blessings stolen, favor missed, opportunities overlooked by distraction or ignorance. I want back what was stolen from me (knowingly or not), and I want God do make the devil pay for what he took from me. Regarding those old wounds, I have long ago surrendered my abusers and know that in due time they will either be judged for their sins or find mercy at the foot at the cross just like I did.
