Jewels, Gems & Gunpowder

Come into my home with me today, join me in my prayer life, and my daily reading. Welcome!

A Jewel: God’s love separates.

So many religious folks like to believe that unity is the only message in the Kingdom of God. Not so! His love often separates us for protection, for growth, for nourishment and for love.

A Gem: I am learning the great role reversal that I have lived most of my life. My life has been lived not seeing myself, but living for everyone else. Anyone who came along was better than me. It’s so sad but I think many of us live this way.

Do we believe we are worthy of good?

I pray you find yourself today in a way you haven’t before. UCU – it is the story of yourself that must be found. Without your story you will drift upon the oceans of life driven by the winds of another.

Metaphorical Gunpowder: I need to ask for more of what I need in life.

Why?

Because that is a fundamental gift that God bestowed on me when he created me.

God asks for what He needs. I am made in His image so why wouldn’t I be allowed to ask for my needs to be met?
