A Jewel: Are you shrinking away from your healing? Are you staying by abusers?
Make sure you do not strengthen the hands of evildoers. I am not talking here about those that cuss, have a drink or smoke. That’s not evil. What I am talking about is vile people who deceive you, who honor darkness by living close to it. They harbor hate and bitterness in their heart because by doing so it allows them to destroy the innocent — the children in our society, in our families. To receive a lie and not refute it, is strengthening darkness.
God calls us to be apart – separate. Yes, it hurts when it’s your family — do it anyway. MOVE AWAY. If you stay, God has a very hard time getting your attention, you’ll strugle to hear his voice, and your healing stays at a distance. I know because I stayed by pedophiles far too long because they were members of my family.
A Gem: I heard a cool man of God say, that “vindication of the Lord is to expose the works of darkness and put you in a place of honor.”
Metaphorical Gunpowder: I was chatting with a friend the other day. She shared that as a child she received a deep laceration on her leg. She ended up getting 102 stiches to close that wound. She said a profound statement when telling the story, “cleaning the wound hurt more than the initial damage.“
